Children in our community are removed from their homes because their parents cannot or will not provide a safe environment for them. Right now, there are over 60 children in foster care in Crawford County.

By having a Court Appointed Special Advocate, these children will have one consistent person in their life and are more likely to achieve permanency quicker. Children supported by CASA receive more services and have better educational outcomes than foster children that do not have a CASA.

CASA is a unique program because volunteers are appointed by a judge to serve as the eyes and ears for the court, and to be a voice for the child.
